I want to hear from you!
I'll be the first to tell you that if you're looking for a photographer to help recreate images you saw on Pinterest or to use props and "1, 2, 3 cheese" tactics, we are probably not a good fit for one another. If you're looking for the best deal in town or you're waiting for a discounted opportunity at a session, I am likely not your girl as you might not value what I offer as a creative. If so, it's truly okay! I would much rather you find the photographer that fits your needs as a client!
My hope is that photography will be way more than something you put on your yearly check list of things to do. I want your memories to be sacred and precious to you. I want our time together to be an experience, not a stressful date on the calendar. I've taken this journey in many directions over the years and I've come to find that my heart is in the adventure of it all. My soul is driven by the unplanned, the light chasing, the windy days and the magical moments. If that sounds like something you'd love to embrace, we need to plan an adventure. This won't be typical and may feel chaotic. I want you to be okay with the messy parts of life. Be prepared to answer questions about the love of your life or the hardest season you've come through. Be ready to love on those little ones or chase them around until they are out of breath. Be prepared for dirty hands and feet and some tears. Sure, we'll get those staged moments that serve the purpose of gifts and holiday cards but I want you to remember the curl of your lover's hair, the dimples on your little one's cheek or how when your husband smiles his entire face lights up. I want you to feel something with your gallery of images and those emotions come when we let go, turn on some tunes, and explore.
Photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them ~ Elliot Erwitt
